POSITIVE/NEGATIVE During his first semester at Texas A&M Jared had the pleasure of studying with artist, designer, horticulturalist, and visionary John Fairey. The studio began with a pen and ink figure ground project on white museum board. The third dimension was introduced for the second work involving the placement of three dimensional forms in a cube with one side left open. Positive/negative space was explored. The final project applied these abstract principles to the design of a living environment.
